The Zoom activity in the CLE has been upgraded! Instead of scheduling one zoom meeting at a time through the CLE, It is now possible to schedule recurring Zoom meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) in any CLE course. This is a useful feature if you meet regularly with students over zoom for lecture or discussion groups.
Instead of scheduling recurring Zoom meetings using Outlook or Zoom, try adding a Zoom meeting activity to your CLE course:
1. In your CLE course, turn editing on and click on Add an activity or resource. Select Zoom Meeting
2. On the Zoom meeting setup page, click on the Recurring meeting checkbox. This will display the recurring meeting options, where you can set up the recurring meeting schedule.
3. Choose how often the Zoom meeting should recur:
- No Fixed Time: The link to the zoom meeting is available at any time
- Daily: Choose the day(s) and time that the zoom meeting is available. I.e. daily from 2-3pm. Select a specific end date or select the number of recurrences.
- Weekly: Choose the day(s) of the week and time that the zoom meeting is available, i.e. Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2-3pm. Select a specific end date or select the number of recurrences.
- Monthly: Choose the day(s) of the month and time that the zoom meeting is available, i.e. The 4th of each month or the first Monday of each month from 2-3pm. Select a specific end date or select the number of recurrences.
4. Scroll down and click Save and display or Save and return to course.
