Rare Book Collections
Special Collections maintains an extensive collection of rare published and printed resources on many areas of health, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, and homeopathy, as well as early pharmacopoeias, texts on materia medica, and herbals.

The collections contain representative works of authors such as Mondino dei Luzzi, Andreas Vesalius, William Harvey, Albrecht von Haller, Marcello Malpighi, Giovanni Battista Morgagni, and Samuel Hahnemann. Specific titles in Special Collections can be found in the Library Catalog.

Due to their unique and often fragile nature, rare books are available for access under supervised use and by appointment only.
